This is a level 2 beginner level paint lesson, using the same supplies as the Happy Flowers 1 lesson. It is recommended that you complete the Happy Flowers 1 lesson first, since we are building on techniques learned in that lesson. If you have painted some before that may not be necessary.

The goal of Happy Flowers 2 is to expand on some of the basic techniques we learned in the first lesson. We will have a more detailed composition and expand our color palette by mixing some colors together as we paint. We will also be painting with a wet on wet technique, so we will not need drying time in between all the layers.

For this video you will need your prepped 12x12 canvas and a chalk for drawing. Please refer to the Happy Flowers 1 course for more details composition. 

This painting can be done mostly in one sitting since we are painting with a wet on wet technique. I usually wait for the subject to dry before I paint a solid background, but it is not necessary.  

The great thing about acrylic paints is the ability to keep adding layers and easily make changes and modifications!
