Getting Started

This section will give you an overview of supplies and show you how to prep your brushes to get them ready to paint!

First, here's a basic supply list for this tutorial
-Inexpensive chip brush that can be found at any hardware store or department (Walmart, etc.). Old paint brushes will also work great! Recommended size is 3 inches in width or larger.
-Paint-acrylic craft paint, chalk paint, spray paint, latex house paint. paint pens-any and all will work. 
-Couple of paint brushes-one small for details and one larger.
-pencil and blank sheet of paper
Ribbon, sparkles, or any other desired embellishments.

Finishing Touches

  • Make sure you apply your top coat to your ornament and allow to dry for 24 hours. 

  • Get creative with you embellishments-ribbons, bows, sequins, 3D paint, texture, beads, paper, words-you are only limited by your own imagination!
